Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Teller to join our team at HAB Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking products and services tailored to service are clients and customers and will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Transactions: Handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions clients.
  • Account Management: Assist clients with account inquiries, account openings, and maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Provide personalized service to clients, addressing their unique financial needs and concerns.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately count and package currency and coins, balance cash drawers, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Fraud Prevention: Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report any potential fraud to management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions and activities comply with bank policies and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a customer service role.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in cash handling.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Certified Bank Teller (CBT), are a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Environment: Office setting with standard business hours.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
