Job Title: Universal Banker
Location: Jackson Heights Branch

Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

 

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team at the Jackson Heights Branch. This role is responsible for providing excellent service to both internal and external customers, handling financial transactions, and assisting clients with various banking services.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and address changes accurately and efficiently.
• Offer financial counseling and guidance to customers, helping them make informed financial decisions.
• Open and manage new accounts, process loan applications, and promote CD rates to new and existing clients.
• Assist customers with online banking, debit cards, and other digital banking services.
• Handle administrative tasks, including mail review, supply ordering, and conference room scheduling.
• Communicate effectively—speaking clearly and persuasively, listening actively, and writing concisely.
• Collaborate with colleagues, provide and receive feedback, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Manage multiple tasks, prioritize efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in all responsibilities.
• 100% on site and no hybrid work schedule

• Hourly rate: $24 - $28.00 depending on experience

 

Qualifications:
• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written formats.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues.

• Basic knowledge of banking products and services preferred.
